Delete your account and data

In Контроль ДЗ (Kontrol DZ) the account is the family: parents, children and their devices. A parent can delete it in the app or by writing to us.

In the app (immediately)

Open the app on the parent’s phone.
Go to Settings.
Tap “Delete family and all data” at the bottom of the screen.
Confirm.

The timetable, tasks and to-dos, history and reports, all photos and voice notes, chat messages, screen time rules and the child phone’s usage reports, textbook links and all connected devices of the family are deleted immediately and permanently. The app on every family phone then returns to the first screen.

Without the app (by email)

If the app is already gone, email urokikazakhstan@gmail.com with the subject “Delete account” and include:

the family code (Settings → “Subscription”), if you know it;
or the student’s name and the approximate sign-up date.

We may ask a follow-up question to make sure the request comes from a parent of that family. We delete the data within 7 days and reply to your email.

Delete only part of the data

One student (if the family has several): Settings → “Students” → the trash icon next to the name. Their timetable, tasks, photos and voice notes are deleted.
A single device (the child’s, a second parent’s or a tutor’s phone): Settings → “Family” → the device → “Disconnect”.
A second parent or a tutor can leave the family themselves: Settings → “Leave the family”.
Photos and voice notes are deleted automatically anyway after 7–40 days (Settings → “Keep photos”).

What remains after deletion

The subscription is not cancelled automatically. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play (see support), otherwise the store keeps charging.
Purchase records are kept by Apple, Google and the subscription verification service RevenueCat under their own rules.
Server backups are kept for 7 days and then deleted automatically — deleted data disappears from them within that time.
Technical server logs (IP address, request time) are overwritten automatically and are not linked to the family’s data after deletion.

Uninstalling the app from the child’s phone does not delete any data — use one of the ways above.
